Ayurvedic diet is based on Indian Ayurvedic wellness system which dates back thousands of years. Studies have shown how following an Ayurvedic dietary lifestyle practices have improved one’s health. The diet includes whole foods, fruits, vegetable minus the processed foods. The primary notion of the diet is to eat according to one’s dosha.
Integrative Dietetics approach is followed at GAMC. It consists of an individual-centred nutrition care which takes into accounts several factors like physical, intellectual, social, emotional, vocational, spiritual, and ecological wellbeing. It is a combination of Ayurvedic nutrition routine and modern dietary concept.
GAMC uses well developed dietetics tools which show better and faster results. We use, Whole body analyser, I Nadi Tarangi, etc., to analyse body fluid level.
Separate diet plans are prepared according the needs of the individual. The plans are prepared keeping in mind the pre-condition of the patient like – Obesity, Hypothyroidism, Cardiac Dysfunction, PCOD, Infertility, etc.
A complete 9-month pregnancy diet plan is given to the patient explaining all meals in detail.
Ayurveda considers food as medicine and explains various ways of preparing and consuming the food. Keeping that in mind, our dietary experts suggest a regimen and describe the style of cooking and eating the meals.
“When The Diet Is Wrong, The Medicine Is Of No Use. When The Diet Is Correct, The Medicine Is Of No Need.”

There is scientific evidence that supports the practices of Garbhasanskar its effect on the unborn child. Modern studies have proved that a foetus can respond to external stimulus. In fact, the hormonal secretions activated by the mother’s thoughts can also impact the baby in her womb
an Ayurveda, the journey of a child from mother’s womb to the outer world is well explained as Garbha Sanskar. The Sanskrit word ‘garbha’ means foetus and ‘sanskar’ means educating the mind.
It is traditionally believed that a child’s mental and behavioural development starts in the womb as it can be influenced by the mother’s emotional state while she carries the baby.
There is scientific evidence that supports the practices of Garbh Sanskar and its effect on the unborn child. Modern studies have proved that a foetus can respond to external stimulus. In fact, the hormonal secretions activated by the mother’s thoughts can also impact the baby in her womb. The practice of Garbha Sanskar ensures that the mother remains healthy and in a positive state of mind.
There are several modern prenatal practices. Some of them include:
Autosuggestion and hypnosis: These are meditation techniques which occupy the mind with an idea that can turn into reality.
Colour therapy: This includes the use of light and colour to balance the mind. Certain colours can uplift the mood and have a positive effect on the mind.
Aromatherapy: This uses the sense of smell that sharpens the senses and soothes the body and mind. Essential oils and other aromatics may be used to help the mother de-stress.
Guidelines of Garbha Sanskar
According to Ayurveda, Garbha Sanskar is one of the best ways to give birth to a healthy baby. It’s all about the mother maintaining herself physically and mentally in a sound state of mind.
